Who is eligible to apply?

All Mississippi high school seniors are eligible to apply for the Aaron S. Harper Memorial Scholarship. Applicants can be completed online. 

How much will be awarded to the winner?

The Aaron S. Harper Memorial Scholarship award is $1,000. This amount can be applied to the recipient's college education, college books, and/or any other education-related costs associated with the winner's college experience.

When will the scholarship be awarded?

Founder of the Aaron S. Harper Memorial Scholarship and mother of Aaron Harper, Shirley Lee, will announce the winner. The scholarship winner will be selected and awarded at the end of the 2024 - 2025 school year.
